Patent Records

This is the largest and most disturbing cluster of patents. A single inventor—Hendricus G. Loos—filed a series of patents throughout the 1990s and early 2000s that describe how weak electric, magnetic, and thermal fields can excite “sensory resonances” in the human nervous system, producing a menu of physiological and psychological effects: relaxation, sleepiness, eyelid ptosis, sexual excitement, cortical slowing, dizziness, disorientation, and more. Several patents openly discuss law‑enforcement and military standoff applications.
